Join us at the Alumni Band Day 2024 – Friday, September 6, at beautiful Mansion Park Stadium when the Mt. Lions play Cumberland Valley!
Alumni Band Day 2024 is set for Friday, September 6, at beautiful Mansion Park Stadium. This game is also the Gold Ribbon game recognizing National Childhood Cancer Awareness in partnership with the Brian Morden Foundation. Brian Morden ’02 lost his battle with cancer in 2003 and was also a member of the AAHS marching band.
Join us as we celebrate and honor AAHS Band Director Larry Detwiler as he directs his FINAL Alumni Band Day event. Let’s make the 2024 Alumni Band Day the biggest event yet!
Alumni Band members will report to the stadium for afternoon rehearsal followed by a deluxe dinner buffet provided by Taps on 2nd. The Alumni Band will participate in a pre-game and half-time performance with the current edition of the AAHS marching band.
All persons who register will receive a final mailing or email two weeks before the event with a complete schedule of the day’s activities.NO TICKETS WILL BE SENT BY MAIL.
Registration will include a maroon Alumni Band T-Shirt which will be worn by band members at the event. The T-Shirt can only be guaranteed for registrations received by the August 9 deadline. Online registration is available until August 9th. Visit the homepage calendar to register.
